Romans Road to Salvation
Our main prayer and purpose is that everyone would come to know Jesus Christ as their Saviour. Jesus died on the cruel cross at Calvary for all our sins. All we have to do to receive salvation is ask Him to come into our heart and save us. If you would like to be saved please read these simple verses and pray to accept Christ as your Saviour.
Romans 3:23
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
First, you must admit that you are a sinner in need of a Saviour.
Romans 6:23
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Our sin separates us from God. The payment for our sin is death, but through God's Son Jesus Christ we can find forgiveness for our sin and receive eternal life in heaven.
Romans 5:8
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
In an ultimate display of His great love for us, while we were still in our sin, God sent His only Son Jesus to die on the cross at Calvary for all of our sins.
Romans 10:9-10
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Salvation is simple. We must confess that Jesus is Lord, and we must believe that He is a risen Saviour. Then we must ask Him to forgive us for our sins, and invite Him into our hearts to save us.
Romans 10:13
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Salvation is available to all who call upon His name and believe in Him by faith. If you would like to accept Jesus as your Saviour, just pray this simple prayer and dedicate your life to Him.
"Dear Lord, I believe you are the Son of God, and that you died on the cross for my sins and were raised from the dead. I know I have sinned and need forgiveness. I repent of my sins and receive you as my Saviour and Lord. Thank you for saving me."
